About us

The Barbarosso vermouth is made ​​from native grapes of the town of Alella, one of the smallest and oldest in Spain denominations. Maresme Coast, home to Alella, is a land that has been producing and enjoying vermouth since the nineteenth century, and now is reinvented with new ways thanks to the restless minds of the winemaker Xavier Garcia and entrepreneur Albert Cabanas, both in love with Grenache long.

Who is behind Barbarosso?

Albert Cabanas

Entrepreneur with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, where he managed distribution companies and services. Albert is fond of good wine and now applies all his knowledge in obtaining a current vermouth and high quality.

Elisabet Gras

A wine lover, with a passion for the land from which our grapes are harvested. Elisabet is an English linguist and translator, and collaborates on this project using her experience in the business sector, she is our link between the local producers and the distributers.
